Undergraduate Students

International applicants will be assessed on an individual basis based on their country’s academic qualifications and standards. The language of instruction and assessment for all programs at our University is in English; hence all applicants should preferably have IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) for entry. However, the minimum entry criteria are as follows:

Important Notes:

I. For LLB and BA English Language Studies a minimum of 5.5 IELTS is required.

II. Students whose native language is English or they have completed their High School education taught in English need to provide appropriate evidence.

III. Students with the above minimum entry qualifications will be excluded from the visa interview process that applies in some countries.

IV. Students with the above minimum entry qualifications are not allowed to register on Foundation courses.

V. Students who do not meet the above minimum entry qualifications and are to be registered on Foundation courses, will be subject for a visa interview from the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture officials in the Embassy/Consulate of the Cyprus Republic in their country of residence.

Postgraduate Students

Students should have at least a Bachelor degree and an IELTS score of 6.5, or equivalent.

Important Notes:

I. For some postgraduate programs (i.e. MBA) a minimum of three years relevant work experience is required.

II. Students whose first degree was taught entirely in English do not need to provide any official English language testing qualifications.

III. Students who do not meet the above minimum entry criteria are subject to an interview from the Head of School of the program of study they apply for.
