The European Conference on Social Media was established 7 years ago in Brighton and has subsequently been held in Portugal, France, Lithuania and Ireland. The conference has attracted participants from more than 40 countries and been attended by a combination of academic scholars, public sector workers, practitioners and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of the social media industry. A number of journals are selecting papers from the conference for further development and publication.
This year’s ECSM2020 will be hosted virtually by ACPI and UCLan Cyprus
ECSM is an event which brings like-minded researchers together from across the world. This year the global covid-19 pandemic has caused the event to move online where participants will meet in a virtual space to share their research and discuss issues including the use and development of social media in all areas.
