The 8th National Session of EYP Cyprus will take place on 28-31 August at the state of the art premises of UCLan Cyprus. The conference will gather 170 participants from 16 schools in Cyprus, as well as international representatives from various European countries including the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kindgom, Romania and Greece. The National Session is the largest event organised annually by EYP Cyprus and provides the opportunity to students to share their views and discuss various issues which currently concern the European community.
The 8th National Session will be under the theme “Reflecting, Rebuilding: Emerging Stronger” which aims to engage participants in discussions on the most current European matters. It will be an opportunity for the development of a European identity amongst the youth, which is very relevant in the context of the recent European Parliament Elections this May. The main aim of the conference will be to re-evaluate the mistakes made in the past in order to rejuvenate our economy as well the confidence in government bodies and European Institutions. This will allow Cyprus and Europe to emerge stronger.
EYP Cyprus looks forward to welcoming delegates and officials alike at UCLan Cyprus!
