Research Interests
Research in Mathematics, and Applied Mathematics particularly, has changed dramatically over the last years. Revolutionary developments in traditional areas, together with the emergence of exciting new areas have led to new mathematical problems.
Mathematical Medicine and Biology are the main aspects of my research interests. As a result, I am interested in Differential Equations, too. Differential Equations provide the basis for mathematical models in many fields including Mathematical Medicine and Biology. More specifically, mathematical models in medicine and biology are based on various types of differential equations: from the traditional ordinary and partial differential equations to the more modern delay and stochastic differential equations.
