• 3D Textiles, building structure through computer software and 3D printing.
• Smart Materials, advanced material technologies, especially shape shifting textiles/smart textiles, fabrics that acquire movement and change shape when heated.
• Sustainable Design, biobased materials, technologies in recycled, organic, and bio-fabricated materials.
