Research Interests

As a researcher I am quite interested in exploring the needs for the drafting of new legislations around the topics of the use of Artificial Intelligence, Immigration Law and Investment Law. In general my academic and work experience background focuses on Immigration Law, Real Estate and Investment Law, Commercial and Corporate Law as well as Human Rights and Data protection.

Teaching Experience

  • FredMED at Frederick University of Cyprus – September 2020, March 2021: Teaching Mediation and focusing on the advantages of Family Law Mediation

Debating Experience

  • Member of the Organizing committee of FredMUN (2016-18), the first Model UN in Cyprus.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations required to organize an event of this scale (500 participants from 30 countries).
  • Chaired the most challenging committees such as Security Council, Crisis Committees and DISEC, requiring of me to understand UN international treaties, design crisis simulation scenarios and oversee background preparation material which required extensive knowledge of global affairs.
  • Participated as a delegate in over 6 model UN conferences, developing my abilities to construct persuasive debate arguments and build a wealth of relevant knowledge (twice awarded with Honors for excellent debating performance).
  • Participated as a head of team/leader at the Cyprus National Mood Court Competition in 2017.
