Peter Yiatrou

Peter Yiatrou has a strong academic background in Computer Science with a BSc in Computer Science (1st) and an MSc in Business Systems Analysis and Design (Distinction). In addition, he has an MBA with Distinction; graduating as class valedictorian. He has over 16 years IT experience in varying roles and industries and is currently an Associate Project Director working in the Card Payment Industry. He is a certified Project Management Professional from the PMI; he is also a Prince 2 Certified Project Management Practitioner and a Certified Training Professional. Peter has a keen interest in Education, which was well represented in his role as the lead Project Manager for the Cyprus Ministry of Education’s projects to deliver the National Learning Management System for Lyceum schools and the digital education content (DECs) for 13 subjects. Peter’s interest in education and learning led him to become a PhD candidate, his research is based on leading Learning Theories. The objective is to define a set of principles and best practices for the development of eLearning software for STEM subjects that lead to a quantifiable improvement in student performance.
