Research Interests
I am interested in the interplay between students’ epistemic beliefs and their ability to integrate information into argumentation. In particular, my research examines how engagement in argumentative dialogue with peers—whether holding similar or divergent epistemic beliefs—shapes both the development of epistemic cognition and the quality of information integration within arguments. My work lies at the intersection of educational psychology, epistemic cognition, and the learning sciences, with a focus on understanding and fostering evidence-based reasoning and critical thinking in educational contexts.
