This open workshop is organised with UCLan Cyprus MBA programme and the Cyprus Human Resource Management Association (CyHRMA) and is geared for faculty, MBA scholars and professionals from industry

Theme:
The objective of the presentation is to share the current developments and challenges of the HRM function in view of the economic crisis and to touch upon issues such as the role of HRM function in the Cypriot organizations, the status of the function and how it is viewed by the top management and HR Professionals. 

Biography:
Angelos Louis is a co-founder and Director at RED HR Solutions, a company which provides consulting services in Organizational Effectiveness and Human Resources.  He has over 25 years of professional experience as a director and manager in Cyprus and overseas (USA, Canada and Romania) in the financial and banking sector.  During the last ten years he has been actively involved in HR issues, was responsible for a substantial number of employees and managers as an HR Manager and has provided advisory services to various companies and organizations. His experience includes a full range of HR activities such as HR strategy, HR business partnering, HR policies and procedures, compensation and performance and recruitment and selection. He holds an MBA and a first degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the Cyprus Human Resource Management and a Certified
Industrial Relations Officer.
