MEDIA STUDIO

Our UHD/4K ready, broadcast standard Media Studio, provides our students with multiple opportunities to be creative, producing a body of work that showcases the breadth of their diverse craft skills.

It provides access to state-of-the-art TV and Media Production technologies and equipment required for the production of high quality TV, Radio and Digital Media Audiovisual Content. It is a highly flexible environment where all audio and video feeds can be configured via hardware and software routing.

Kit List

The live recording room features autocue equipped UHD/4K studio cameras on broadcast specification pedestals.

The control room contains a full complement of digital vision equipment including video manipulation, tapeless recording, graphics software and a multi-channel digital audio mixer.

Availability

The independent use of this facility is limited to students studying specific courses.

Due to the innate technical nature of the equipment contained within the studio, there is a prerequisite for anyone to attend a technical induction and then following that they must complete further course based technical instruction workshops prior to permission being granted for their autonomous use of this studio.

Since the studio is used for scheduled teaching activities, access to it is only by special arrangement.

The Media Studio can be found in a quiet environment, at the basement of our campus.
