Research Interests
Her research explores how grief becomes politicised and transmitted across generations in societies affected by war, displacement, and division. She investigates the psychological mechanisms underpinning political and disenfranchised grief, including meaning-making, sense of coherence, coping processes, and post-traumatic growth. Her work combines systematic reviews, qualitative narrative inquiry, psychometric scale development, and structural equation modelling to inform culturally sensitive interventions and peace-building initiatives.
