Tuition Fees Applicable for 2024/2025

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS (Local/EU and non-EU)

> €8,500 per year (60 ECTS) after the discount of €1,450 per year UCLan Cyprus Bursary from the original fee of €9,950.

POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS (Local/EU and non-EU)

> €8,925 for the entire programme (90 ECTS) after the discount of €1,575 UCLan Cyprus Bursary from the original fee of €10,500.

MBA DL (90 ECTS) €8,000 (original fee €10,500)
MSc Cybersecurity DL (90 ECTS) €8,000 (original fee €10,500)
MSc Data Analytics DL (90 ECTS) €8,000 (original fee €10,500)
MSc Forensic Psychology with optional practicum (130 ECTS) €15,425 with original fees €17,000.
MA Hospitality, Tourism & Events Management with optional internship (120 ECTS) €12,000 with original fees €14,118.
MBA with Work Placement (120 ECTS) €12,000 for EU/Local students and €19,425 for non-EU students, with original fees €21,000.

Athletic Scholarships

Athletic Scholarships: These apply to any student regardless of the programme of study.

Although the below Athletic Scholarships Scheme descriptions relate mainly to Local applicants, Athletic Scholarships apply to ALL applicants (local, EU and non-EU).
All Athletic Scholarship applications are evaluated by the University’s Athletic Scholarships Committee.
The below Scheme categorisation description is simply a guide, and all applicants are considered on a fair basis by the Athletic Scholarships Committee, which takes various aspects into consideration for its final decision.

ATHLETIC LEVEL CRITERIA	A current full member of the Cyprus National Team of a specific sport.	Professional Athletes (more than 2 years) with 1^st or 2^nd place in Local National Competitions or Championships in recognised sports (primarily physical), that the Committee will approve. Conditions for maintaining the athletic scholarship:

The Student must meet the above academic conditions indicated per scheme each year.
The Student must remain within the scheme’s athletic level.
The Student must meet his/her financial obligations towards the University, according to the agreed conditions.
The Student must demonstrate good attitude, engagement with University’s sport-related activities and promotion of the University in his/her athletic endeavours.

UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

(A) Academic merit-based scholarships

> 50% scholarship on the original fee for the first year, i.e €4,975.

Strict Criteria on High School Leaving Certificate:

Cyprus: 19/20 or 95%

Russia: 4.95/5.0

Ukraine: 4.95/5.0 or 11.8/12

Lebanon: 98% or 3.9/4.0

South Africa: National Senior Certificate 85%

EU: A’ levels 140 tariff points (new tariff system) in course related subjects / IB Diploma 35/45

> 40% scholarship on the original fee for the first year, i.e €5,970.

Strict Criteria on High School Leaving Certificate:

Cyprus: 18.5-18.99/20 or 92.5%-94.9%

Russia: 4.85/5.0

Ukraine: 4.85/5.0 or 11.6/12

Lebanon: 95% or 3.7/4.0

South Africa: National Senior Certificate 80%

EU: A’ levels 120 tariff points (new tariff system) in course related subjects / IB Diploma 30/45

Maximum 30% scholarship on the original fees available to all postgraduate programmes, upon the condition that the student has a successful interview with the Course Leader and/or Head of the School.

Important Note for PG Scholars: The postgraduate scholarship comes with a number of responsibilities and expectations for the students; they should be exemplar scholars in both their behaviour and performance during class and modules on their postgraduate studies. In case of failure of passing any modules of their Postgraduate degree, the retake module fee will be calculated on the tuition fee that was applicable prior to the scholarship or discount earned.

Other Bursaries and Discounts

Large Families bursaries (Only for Locals/CY): Members of P.O.P.O. (3 children) are allowed 15% discount on the advertised fee and members of P.O.P. (4 children or more) are allowed 20% discount on the advertised fee, for the first year of study and a 10% discount, to both P.O.P.O. and P.O.P. members, for each consecutive year of study, by showing annually the renewed large family’s membership card.

Siblings: 10% bursary on the advertised fee for every year of study for all the siblings while studying simultaneously.

Alumni:

40% special scholarships on the original fees to UCLan Cyprus and UCLan UK Alumni/Graduates.
10% discount on the advertised fee to their 1^st degree relatives, on any Postgraduate or Undergraduate programme.

Discount for paying the Tuition Fee in advance: 2% on the balance of the tuition fees after deducting the deposit.

Staff Members: 50% special scholarships on original fees on any programme of study, both UG and PG, applicable also to 1^st degree relatives.

Policies for Scholarships and Bursaries

All UG merit-based Scholarships can be maintained for each year of study conditional on the academic progress of the student in the previous year. The conditions are written and agreed in the Offer Letter of the student.

In case an applicant is eligible for more than one of any scholarships, discounts, bursaries, APLs (exemptions), then only the higher will apply.

For Part Time UG students the scholarships indicated cannot apply since the condition for keeping the scholarship to next years based on the average grade is not valid.

Other Fees

STUDENTS FEES UNTIL REGISTRATION:

Application Fee: €50 > Applicable to Locals/EU and International Students. Non-Refundable.
Visa Application Fee & Alien Book fee: €210 > Applicable to those who will apply for a Student Visa. Non-Refundable.
Deposit/Registration fee:
(a) for Locals/EU €1200
(b) for non-EU €3000 before the Student Visa & €2000 once the Student Visa is issued (total €5000).
Student Pass: €60 for both UG and PG students payable together with the Registration Fee (not applicable for Distance Learning students). For UG students this is payable every year of their study. Non-Refundable.

VISA RENEWAL FEES TO OTHER AUTHORITIES:

For the renewal of the entry permit and the issuance of the Temporary Residence Permit (Pink Slip), these are the charges payable to other Authorities or Medical Centres:

Pink Slip application fee: €55
Medical Insurance: €130
Medical tests (blood tests & x-ray): €60 (once off)

Other Fees

International Commercial Mediation Module under LLM programmes: additional €350 per student.

Graduation Fee: A €50 graduation fee is payable by every graduand participating in the graduation ceremony.

Retake of a Module: €600 for every 10-ECTS module that needs to be retaken.

APL Module Evaluation Fee: After start of Academic Year, €100 per module evaluation request, regardless of the decision (non-refundable).

Copy of Degree or Transcript:

– Additional official copy of the final transcript = €5 per set.
– Certified Copy of Degree: €10 per set.

Distance Learning Programmes – Physical Exams: Note in the Offer Letters: In case of physical exams, the University will indicate the nearest exam centre to your location in case you cannot come at the University campus. In case you will need to be accommodated to an exam centre/location and not at the University campus, then a Fee per Exam might be charged.

From 1^st of November: 100% of the year’s fee.

January Enrolments

Until 15^th of January: €500.
Until 15^th of February: €1200.
Until 31^st of May: 50% of the year’s fee.
From 1^st of June: 100% of the year’s fee.

January Enrolments

Until 31^st of December: €500.
Until 15^th of January: €1500.
Until 15^th of February: €5000.
From 16^th of February: 100% of the year’s fee.

Notes:

(a) The percentage of the tuition fee indicated in the above table is calculated on the tuition fee of the year/programme as agreed in the Offer Letter.

(b) For Part Time students the percentages of charged tuition fee will apply based on the modules taken that year.
