Summary
Energy transition is clearly on the way due to climate change; and this means a huge transformation process for the energy industry. But how can an international operating family business best possibly support its’ customers within this important process? This example of family business management in a high voltage company makes it clear: by innovation and a supportive family structure.

Lead Speaker: Dr Markus Baur, CEO BAUR GmbH

Bio
Markus Baur is general manager and shareholder of company BAUR GmbH located in Austria. He represents third generation of the almost 75 year old measurement specialist which is operating worldwide. BAUR delivers premium solutions for cable fault location, testing and diagnostics. Markus Baur held several management positions and advanced his knowledge in family business research in a doctoral study. In 2012/2013, Markus Baur was living in Cyprus to study electrical engineering.
