Modern slavery and the accounting profession & ‘The establishment of the UK’s first university-led tax clinic

Friday 15th November 2019, 12.00-13.00, Venue: CY007

The School of Business and Management of UCLan Cyprus presents: ‘Modern slavery and the accounting profession’ & ‘The establishment of the UK’s first university-led tax clinic’.

In this dual research seminar, Debbie Wood, a Lecturer in the Accounting and Finance Division in Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise, will present and discuss two research projects she is involved with on the Preston Campus, UK. Both research studies are at an early stage, and this will be an opportunity to get an overview of these exciting projects and identify any areas of potential collaboration between Preston and Cyprus Campuses. Moreover, through this seminar, Debbie will share with us her extensive experience in Finance and Accounting.
