In this way, students are introduced to theory, which they will then have to study and assimilate on their own time until next week’s practical workshop/seminar, where they will be offered discursive and/or computational exercises which will invite them to demonstrate an ability to practice the theory they got introduced to over the previous week.

Students are expected to engage with pre-set discursive and computational exercises prior to each workshop. Lecture slides, lecture notes and seminar questions/exercises are available to the students on Blackboard. Students are required to develop an understanding of the topic area by studying the lecture notes prior to attempting and practicing the questions in the workshop.
