On Friday, 7 December 2018, the UCLan Cyprus School of Business and Management, in coordination with the BA (Hons) Hospitality and Tourism Management and the MA Internship in International Tourism, Hospitality and Events courses, under the sponsorship of Sunnyseekers Hotels, successfully organised the professional development course on “Recruitment, Retention and Professional Development: Building Stronger Teams in the Hospitality Industry” that took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Larnaka.
The course welcomed a full house of participants, both students and industry professionals, who engaged in rigorous discussions and enjoyed a set of insightful presentations by our esteemed speakers. We would like to take the opportunity to thank our participants, our gold sponsors, Sunnyseekers Hotels, and of course our speakers and trainer, Mr Antonis Hadjinikolas (General Manager of Sunnyseekers Hotels), Mr Zacharias Ioannides (Director General of the Cyprus Hotel Association), Mr Costas Koumis (Vice President of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation), Mr Nikos Pharmakalides (General Manager of Nestor Hotel) and Dr Harry Georgiou (General Manager of Adams Beach Hotel), for making this event a great success.
Hμερίδα επαγγελματικής κατάρτισης “Recruitment, Retention and Professional Development: Building Stronger Teams in the Hospitality Industry”
Την Παρασκευή, 7 Δεκεμβρίου 2018, η Σχολή Διοίκησης & Επιχειρήσεων του Πανεπιστημίου UCLan Cyprus, σε συνεργασία με το πρόγραμμα Διοίκησης Φιλοξενίας και Τουρισμού και το μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα Πρακτικής Διεθνούς Τουρισμού, Φιλοξενίας και Εκδηλώσεων, και με την ευγενή υποστήριξη του Sunnyseekers Hotels, διοργάνωσε επιτυχώς την ημερίδα επαγγελματικής κατάρτισης “Recruitment, Retention and Professional Development: Building Stronger Teams in the Hospitality Industry” που έγινε στο ξενοδοχείο Radisson Blu στη Λάρνακα.
Η ημερίδα φιλοξένησε ένα μεγάλο αριθμό συμμετεχόντων, τόσο φοιτητές όσο και επαγγελματίες της βιομηχανίας, οι οποίοι είχαν ενεργή διάδραση με τους ομιλητές, από τους οποίους παρακολούθησαν μια σειρά αναλυτικών και καινοτόμων παρουσιάσεων. Θα θέλαμε με αυτή την ευκαιρία να ευχαριστήσουμε τους συμμετέχοντες για την παρουσία τους, τους χορηγούς μας για τη στήριξή τους, και φυσικά τους ομιλητές και εκπαιδευτή μας, τον κ.
