Refund Policy
Tuition Fee Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances may change after accepting an offer or making a payment. UCLan Cyprus has a Tuition Fee Refund Policy which explains the conditions, timelines, and procedures for refund requests.
Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of each case, including the timing of the withdrawal request, registration status, and, for international students, Student Visa status. Full details are set out in the Tuition Fee Refund Policy.
All students are encouraged to read carefully the full policy in the below link, before making any payments or submitting a withdrawal request.
The full Tuition Fee Refund Policy document forms part of the terms and conditions of enrolment at UCLan Cyprus.

Tuition Fee Refund Policy
Policy's Key Information:
The Refund Policy is about the Tuition Fee. The Tuition Fee is agreed in the Offer Letter for the relevant academic year.
14-Day Cooling-Off Period. Students may be entitled to a full refund within 14 days of payment, in accordance with the University’s Tuition Fee Refund Policy.
How to Withdraw. Whether you would like to withdraw from the admissions process before your official Registration, or you would like to withdraw after your Registration, your request to be evaluated must be sent in writing, to the following Departments accordingly:
- Before Registration: Students who have not yet completed Registration must submit their withdrawal request in writing to Admissions & Recruitment Department at [email protected]
- After Registration: Students who have completed Registration must inform in writing the Schools Administration Department and submit and sign the withdrawal request form, at [email protected].
Non-Refundable Fees are excluded from the refund. The Non-Refundable Fees are defined in the Definitions section of the above Tuition Fee Refund Policy document.
Where a student withdraws and a refund is requested, the University may deduct an administrative fee reflecting reasonable costs incurred up to the point of withdrawal. The fee is assessed proportionately based on the stage reached and will be communicated to the student as part of the refund outcome. This fee forms part of the Non-Refundable Fees. (see the Definitions section in the above Refund Policy). This does not apply during the 14-day cooling-off period.
Refund eligibility depends on several factors, and you must read the Tuition Fee Refund Policy document above, for refund eligibility. These factors include but are not limited to:
- whether Registration has been completed,
- the timing of the withdrawal request,
- visa status (for international students),
- compliance with the University’s withdrawal procedures.
Important: Simply stopping attendance or disengaging from studies does not constitute an official withdrawal.
Refund Process:
- Refund requests must be sent in writing to the University.
- Refund requests are assessed in accordance with the above Tuition Fee Refund Policy document.
- Refund decisions are normally communicated within 14 business days from receipt of a complete withdrawal request.
