Welcome to the School of Arts, Media, and Communication at UCLan Cyprus!  

It is with great enthusiasm that we introduce our new School, dedicated to fostering a vibrant and innovative learning environment where creativity, academic excellence, and community engagement flourish.  

Our mission is to enable our students to thrive both creatively and academically, generate impactful research and artistic work, and engage actively with communities. Our dedication lies in fostering equal opportunities, transparency, and acceptance, ensuring that every student has the chance to succeed. By promoting and encouraging research, creativity, critical thinking, and innovation, we aim to transfer knowledge not just within our School, but to the broader community and industry.  

At the School of Arts, Media, and Communication we place a strong emphasis on the employability of our future graduates. Our faculty’s extensive professional and academic experience, alongside our industry-informed curriculum, guarantees that students are well-prepared to meet the demands of the ever-changing job market. Our programmes are designed to incorporate the most recent industry trends and research findings, while also being both innovative and comprehensive. Students engage in cutting-edge scholarly activities and artistic work, securing their position as leaders in their respective fields.  

Our School’s state-of-the-art facilities, including production studios, design studios, and specialised labs are equipped with the latest technologies related to arts, media and communication. These resources play a crucial role in developing and improving the creative, artistic, communication, and problem-solving abilities of our students. Currently, we offer specialised programmes focusing on areas such as digital design, graphic design, fashion design, web design and development, media and TV production, digital media, and UX/UI design. Every programme we offer is designed to offer a hands-on learning experience, with the support of our faculty’s industry experience and academic knowledge.  

We are committed to engaging with local and global communities, transferring knowledge, and promoting collaboration. Our programmes encourage students to think beyond the classroom and make a tangible impact in the world around them.
