Description
The aim of this executive course is to equip participants with the ability to critically analyse and apply a range of business functions underpinning the modern sport business landscape.

This course is solution focused; that is, it is designed to answer the question of how personnel within sport business can succeed without relying solely on winning on the field.

Therefore participants will be armed with a number of strategies to implement when the situation calls for it.

The training will be based upon the following thematic units:

• Mastering New Technologies
• Maximizing Revenue with Analytics
• Implementing Impactful CSR Programs
• Crafting a Crisis Blueprint
• Reinvigorating Sportscapes

Trainer’s short bio:
Christos Anagnostopoulos is an Assistant Professor in Sport Business Management at UCLan (Cyprus) and an Associate Professor in Sport Management at Molde University College (Norway).

He holds a PhD from Coventry University and a Master’s by Research in Sport Management and the Business of Football from Birkbeck, University of London.

In 2013, he has been honoured with the prestigious Early Researcher Award by the European Association for Sport Management, while research papers of his have been twice awarded by the European Academy of Management (track: Managing Sport). His research falls within the fields of organisational behaviour and strategic management, while he is notably interested in and known about corporate social responsibility in and through sport.

Dr Anagnostopoulos lectures, researches, publishes and consults nationally and internationally on the management and strategic development of team sport organisations. He has also started delivering executive training for firms (e.g., PwC Cyprus) by drawing on the unique features that sports manifest.
