Tuition Fees Applicable for 2025/2026

English Language Foundation programme (non-EU only)

>   €6,500 for the entire programme (1 year), after deducting the UCLan Cyprus Foundation Bursary of €1,500 from the original fee of €8,000.

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS (Local/EU and non-EU)

>   €9,000 per year (60 ECTS) after the discount of €950 per year UCLan Cyprus Bursary from the original fee of €9,950.

POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS (Local/EU and non-EU)

>   €9,500 for the entire programme (90 ECTS) after the discount of €1,000 UCLan Cyprus Bursary from the original fee of €10,500.

  • MSc Cybersecurity DL (90 ECTS) €8,500 (original fee €10,500)

  • MA Hospitality, Tourism & Events Management with optional internship (120 ECTS) €12,575 with original fees €14,118.

    • - Optional Year 2 internship: €3,075 (30 ECTS) with original fees €3,618.
  • MBA with Work Placement (120 ECTS) €12,575 for EU/Local students and €20,000 for non-EU students, with original fees €21,000.

    • - Optional Year 2 Work Placement: (30 ECTS) €3,075 for EU/Local with original fees €10,500, and €10,500 for Non-EU Students.

 Athletic Scholarships: These apply to any student regardless of the programme of study.

  1. Although the below Athletic Scholarships Scheme descriptions relate mainly to Local applicants, Athletic Scholarships apply to ALL applicants (local, EU and non-EU).
  2. All Athletic Scholarship applications are evaluated by the University’s Athletic Scholarships Committee.
  3. The below Scheme categorisation description is simply a guide, and all applicants are considered on a fair basis by the Athletic Scholarships Committee, which takes various aspects into consideration for its final decision.

ATHLETIC LEVEL CRITERIA A current full member of the Cyprus National Team of a specific sport. Professional Athletes (more than 2 years) with 1st or 2nd place in Local National Competitions or Championships in recognised sports (primarily physical), that the Committee will approve. Athletes/Players in Cyprus Football Teams of 1st, 2nd or 3rd Division as well as Basketball and Volleyball Teams of 1st Division. Other Athletes who are not under the Schemes A, B, C or PASP. Conditions for maintaining the athletic scholarship:

(A) The student must meet the above academic conditions indicated per scheme each year.
(B) The student must remain within the scheme’s athletic level.
(C) The student must meet his/her financial obligations towards the University, according to the agreed conditions.
(D) The student must demonstrate good attitude, engagement with University’s sport-related activities and promotion of the University in his/her athletic endeavours.

Postgraduate Scholarships

Maximum 30% scholarship on the original fees available to all postgraduate programmes, upon the condition that the student has a successful interview with the Course Leader and/or Head of the School.

Important Note for PG Scholars: The postgraduate scholarship comes with a number of responsibilities and expectations for the students; they should be exemplar scholars in both their behaviour and academic performance during their postgraduate studies. In case of failure of passing any modules of their Postgraduate degree, the retake module fee will be calculated on the tuition fee that was applicable prior to the scholarship or discount earned.

a. Siblings: 10% bursary on the advertised fee for every year of study for all the siblings while studying simultaneously.

b. Alumni: 40% special scholarships on the original fees to UCLan Cyprus and UCLan UK Alumni/Graduates and 10% discount on the advertised fee to their 1st degree relatives, on any Postgraduate or Undergraduate programme.

c. Staff Members: 50% special scholarships on original fees on any programme of study, both UG and PG, applicable also to 1st degree relatives.

Policies for Scholarships and Bursaries

  • All UG merit-based Scholarships can be maintained for each year of study conditional on the academic progress of the student in the previous year. The conditions are written and agreed in the Offer Letter of the student.
  • In case an applicant is eligible for more than one of any scholarships, discounts, bursaries, APLs  (exemptions), then only the higher will apply.
  • For Part Time UG students the Academic scholarships cannot apply as the condition for continuation of the scholarship to next years based on the average grade is not valid.
  • The University may review individual cases and make decisions based on its policies, regulations, and legal obligations, while ensuring fairness for the prospective student.

OTHER FEES

Applicable for New Students of 2025/26 Academic Year

STUDENTS FEES UNTIL REGISTRATION:

  1. Application Fee: €50 > Applicable to Locals/EU and International Students. Non-Refundable.
  2. Visa Application Fee & Alien Book fee: €210 > Applicable to those who will apply for a Student Visa. Non-Refundable.
  3. Deposit/Registration fee:
    • (a) for Locals/EU €1200
    • (b) for non-EU €5000
  4. Student Pass: €100 for both UG and PG students payable together with the Deposit/Registration Fee (not applicable for Distance Learning students). For UG students this is payable every year of their study. Non-Refundable.

VISA RENEWAL FEES TO OTHER AUTHORITIES:

For the renewal of the entry permit and the issuance of the Temporary Residence Permit (Pink Slip), these are the charges payable to other Authorities or Medical Centres:

  1. Pink Slip application fee: €55
  2. Medical Insurance: €150
  3. Medical tests (blood tests & x-ray): €60 (once off)
    Total €265

OTHER:

Graduation Fee: A €50 graduation fee is payable by every graduand participating in the graduation ceremony.

Retake of a Module: €600 for every 10-ECTS module that needs to be retaken.

APL Module Evaluation Fee: After start of Academic Year, €100 per module evaluation request, regardless of the decision (non-refundable).

Copy of Degree or Transcript:

- Additional official copy of the final transcript = €5 per set.
- Certified Copy of Degree: €10 per set.

Distance Learning Programmes - Physical Exams: In case of physical exams, the University will indicate the nearest exam centre to your location, if you cannot come at the University campus. In case you will need to be accommodated to an exam centre/location and not at the University campus, then a Fee per Exam might be charged.

TUITION FEE PENALTY CHARGE FOR Students who Withdraw, FOR 2025/26.

Notes:

(a) The percentage of the tuition fee indicated in the above table is calculated on the tuition fee of the year/programme as agreed in the Offer Letter.

(b) For Part Time students the percentages of charged tuition fee will apply based on the modules taken that year.
