The School of Business & Management presents: The New Consumer is a citizen

The School of Business & Management presents: The New Consumer is a citizen hosted by the BA (Hons) Advertising and Marketing Communication programme.

Abstract:
As we enter an era that fundamentally changes our world, our communities in local and global scales, the transition is bound to raise questions to which the marketers of tomorrow must provide answers. The rules have changed. How has the way we communicate, the way we interact, and the way we live created an unprecedented shift in consumer behavioral economics? What are the new habits formed, what perceptions have been birthed and what are we leaving behind? During this lecture, we will identify newly emerged patterns, discover and highlight the events that led to them, to put every piece of the puzzle together and answer a simple, but significant question: Is being a “citizen”, the new “consumer”?

Speaker: Xenia Chatziioannidou, Digital Marketing Director, Partners VMLY&R
