UCLan Cyprus and Cyprus University of Technology signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MOC)

The University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus) and the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) have signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MOC) in order to form a long-term and mutually valuable relationship. UCLan CYPRUS was represented by its Rector Dr. Melinda Tan and CUT was represented by its Rector Prof. Elpida Keravnou-Papailiou. The MOC shall be valid for three years.

The Memorandum of Collaboration is the first step towards bilateral exchange primarily of students and staff, research and teaching between the two institutions. By mutual agreement, the collaboration between the institutions may in due course be extended to include the following areas:

• Joint PHd studentships
• Joint research projects and programs under Horizon 2020
• The exchange of Teaching Research Staff (TRF)
• The exchange of administrative staff and students
• Assistance in finding internships for exchange students
• Cooperation in the development of joint teaching and knowledge transfer projects
• Mutual use of facilities (i.e Laboratories, Library) for staff and students

This MOC will serve as a basis for a more detailed Collaboration to be signed prior to the initiation of exchanges.
