UCLan Cyprus Announcement – 2020/2021 Academic Year

Dear UCLanians,

Here at UCLan Cyprus, we’re continually connected to ensure your studies remain uninterrupted – no matter the circumstances!

At the start of 2020, COVID-19 brought an unprecedented set of circumstances for students the world over. UCLan reacted instantly and effectively: immediately implementing online lectures and examinations and accommodating all special requirements in order to safeguard its excellent academic standards.

And as we look forward to the new academic year of 2020/2021, you can rest assured that your studies will be able to continue as smoothly as ever. Our flexible blended delivery of physical on-campus and online distance-mode lectures, has been specifically designed to accommodate all our students, local or international.

Should restrictions in your home country limit your travel plans at the start of the new academic year, you’ll be able to begin your studies exactly as scheduled. Your classes will take place online, and you’ll be fully supported each step of the way, from Induction and Welcome Week (scheduled for September) to the continuation of your lectures and tutorials. Then, once travel restrictions ease, you’ll be expected to join us in person at UCLan Cyprus, where you can continue your classes in person and enjoy all the benefits of our unique student life.

Cyprus has been designated one of the safest places in the world with regards to COVID-19, and we’re looking forward to welcoming you in person to our beautiful campus on this safe and sunny Mediterranean island. Until then, our top priority is to ensure you enjoy full and uninterrupted access to your education.

No matter where you are in the world, UCLan Cyprus will ensure you remain connected to the top-quality education you deserve.

Yours sincerely,

Maria Aresti
