The University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus) after the submission of an application for recognition of equivalency and having received a thorough evaluation is the first private British University of Cyprus to have been approved by the D.O.A.T.A.P (Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center) to be equivalent and equal to Greek Universities (AEI).  D.O.A.T.A.P is the official recognition body of qualifications answerable to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Greece. This decision is the official institutional recognition of University of Central Lancashire Cyprus by the competent institution in Greece that provides the recognition of qualifications of graduates. UCLan Cyprus is the only British private University of Cyprus that enjoys higher academic recognition of Cyprus, Greece and the United Kingdom.
