Ο Radisson Blu Διεθνής Μαραθώνιος Λάρνακας και το Πανεπιστήμιο UCLan Cyprus ενώνουν τις δυνάμεις τους στο μεγαλύτερο αθλητικό γεγονός της Λάρνακας
Η Οργανωτική Επιτροπή του Radisson Blu Διεθνούς Μαραθωνίου Λάρνακας με μεγάλη χαρά και ιδιαίτερη τιμή ανακοινώνει τη συνεργασία της με το Πανεπιστήμιο UCLan Cyprus, όπου θα είναι ο Ακαδημαϊκός συνεργάτης του αγώνα.
Στο πλαίσιο της συνεργασίας του Radisson Blu Διεθνούς Μαραθωνίου Λάρνακας με το Πανεπιστήμιο UCLan Cyprus θα ανακοινωθούν τις επόμενες ημέρες ειδικές ενέργειες συνεργασίας.
Το Πανεπιστήμιο UCLan Cyprus λειτουργεί ως εγγεγραμμένο Ιδιωτικό Πανεπιστήμιο στην Κύπρο, ενώ βρίσκεται κάτω από την ακαδημαϊκή ομπρέλα του University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, προσφέροντας άριστη Κυπριακή-Βρετανική Ανώτατη εκπαίδευση, σε πτυχιακό, μεταπτυχιακό αλλά και ερευνητικό επίπεδο. Έχει λάβει πλήρως την Τελική Άδεια Λειτουργίας από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας και Πολιτισμού της Κύπρου, καθώς και τα εύσημα από τον Φορέα Διασφάλισης Ποιότητας της Αγγλίας (QAA). Η μοναδική αυτή συνέργεια αντικατοπτρίζεται στο γεγονός ότι οι απόφοιτοι του Πανεπιστημίου UCLan Cyprus λαμβάνουν δύο πτυχία, από τα Πανεπιστήμια UCLan Cyprus και UCLan UK, πλήρως αναγνωρισμένα σε Κύπρο, Ευρώπη αλλά και τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο.
Το Πανεπιστήμιο UCLan Cyprus σε συνέχεια της δέσμευσής του για δημιουργία ενός Πανεπιστημίου διεθνούς εμβέλειας, στηριζόμενο στο στρατηγικό πλεονέκτημα της γεωγραφικής θέσης της Κύπρου και της συμβολής του μητρικού Πανεπιστημίου UCLan Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, έχει προσελκύσει έναν σημαντικό αριθμό ξένων φοιτητών στην Κύπρο. Συγκεκριμένα, το Πανεπιστήμιο φιλοξενεί φοιτητές από τη Ρωσία, Ουκρανία, Ευρώπη και Ασία.
Ο 1ος Radisson Blu Διεθνής Μαραθώνιος Λάρνακας πραγματοποιείται την Κυριακή 19 Νοεμβρίου 2017 και συμπεριλαμβάνει Μαραθώνιο Δρόμο (42.195 χλμ), Ημιμαραθώνιο δρόμο (21.095 χλμ), 10 χιλιομέτρων , 5 χιλιομέτρων – εταιρικός, 5 χιλιομέτρων – ατομικός και 1 χιλιομέτρου Fun Race και Kids Race.
Τελείται υπό την αιγίδα και την στήριξη του Υπουργείου Παιδείας και Πολιτισμού, του Υπουργείου Μεταφορών, του Υπουργείο Ενέργειας, Εμπορίου, Βιομηχανίας και Τουρισμού, του Υπουργείου Υγείας, της Πολιτικής Άμυνας, της Αστυνομίας Κύπρου, του Επίτροπου Εθελοντισμού και Μη Κυβερνητικών Οργανώσεων, της Επιτρόπου Περιβάλλοντος του Κυπριακού Οργανισμού Αθλητισμού (ΚΟΑ), της Κυπριακής Ομοσπονδίας Ερασιτεχνικού Αθλητισμού Στίβου (ΚΟΕΑΣ) και του Παγκύπριου Συνδέσμου Ποδοσφαιριστών Κύπρου (ΠΑΣΠ).

The Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon And UCLan Cyprus Join Forces In The Biggest Sports Event Of Larnaka
The Organizing Committee of the Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon, with great joy and honor, announces its cooperation with the UCLan Cyprus University, which will be the academic partner of the race.
Keeping with the framework of the collaboration between the Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon with the UCLan Cyprus University, special events will be announced in the next few days.
UCLan Cyprus operates as a Registered Private University in Cyprus and is placed under the academic umbrella of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in the United Kingdom, offering high-level Cypriot-British Higher Education at graduate, postgraduate and research level. It has been fully licensed by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus, as well as accredited from the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). This unique synergy is reflected in the fact that UCLan Cyprus graduates receive two degrees from the two Universities, UCLan Cyprus and UCLan UK, fully recognized in Cyprus, Europe and beyond.

The 1st Radisson Blu Larnaka International Marathon will take place on Sunday, November 19th, 2017 and includes a Marathon Race (42,195 km), a Half Marathon Race (21,095 km), 10 5km – corporate, 5km – individual and 1km Fun Race and Kids Race.
It is under the auspices and support of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the Ministry of Health, the Civil Defense, the Cyprus Police, the Commissioner for Volunteerism and Non Governmental Organizations, the Commissioner for the Environment the Cyprus Sports Organization (CSO), the Cyprus Amateur Athletics Federation (KOEAS) and the Cypriot Football Association (PASP).
