The School of Business and Management of UCLan Cyprus is participating for the fourth consecutive year in the CFA Research Challenge, a prestigious financial analysis competition that is hosted by the CFA Institute.

This year, students have to create a financial analysis report for Petrolina (Holdings) Ltd. and present their findings in front of a jury of professional CFA holders. The best two teams will represent Cyprus in the European Research Challenge that will be held in Zurich, Switzerland and in the MENA Research Challenge that will be held in Dubai, U.A.E.

On the 16^th of November 2018, our students had the opportunity, to visit Petrolina’s premises in Larnaca, under the supervisions of their academic tutor, Mr. Konstantinos Melas.  Our students got familiar with the distribution processes of the company and they were able to have short interviews with the management of the company they were free to ask questions related to their analysis.
