Following the granting of an academic license by the Ministry of Education & Culture and the Government of Cyprus, we are proud to announce that the University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus) will be established in the area of Larnaka.
Construction of the modern €53 million campus has begun in the area of Pyla, Larnaka. UCLan Cyprus will deliver premium British Higher Education to its students from 2nd October 2012. All courses will meet the quality standards required by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture and the UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). Local students will thus gain access to British Higher Education at home, with the choice of studying their programme entirely in Cyprus or transferring for part of their studies to the UK. All courses will be taught in the English language.
UCLan Cyprus will add strength to Cyprus’ growing Higher Education sector and assist the Cyprus Government in further establishing the island as an educational Centre of Excellence in the region and beyond. To achieve this, the University will establish a number of international research centres, and engage with local and international communities and industries.
