UCLan Cyprus University is seeking to appoint a Full-time Academic Quality Assurance Coordinator.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertake tasks for the coordination, preparation and completion of accreditation and validation of programmes, departments and the institution by the Cyprus Quality Assurance Agency (CYQAA) as well as UCLan, UK.
- Ensure the maintenance, development and continuous improvement of administrative systems and their efficiency, appropriate to the range of programmes offered at UCLan Cyprus.
- Ensure the compliance of the students records with the accredited programme provisions.
- Ensure that student journey (admission, transfer, progression, graduation) on a double-awarded degree is compliant with the University academic regulations and any applicable professional and regulatory body standards.
- Prepare statistical reports and other data analysis on the University academic provisions and operations for monitoring, evaluation and management of programmes.
- Ensure that all information on the portfolio of study of UCLan Cyprus available on the website, factsheets and prospectus of the University is accurate as per the valid provision.
- Assist the Director of Academic Quality and Compliance to manage the Quality Assurance and Erasmus departments and ensure their efficiency, productivity, appropriate delegation of tasks and high-quality customer care and service.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate Degree is essential.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, use of large corporate databases and the Internet.
- Significant recent academic experience in a busy environment.
- More than 5 years of experience with the accreditation process of CYQAA as well as with the validation process of a British provision is considered an advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Able to work alone or as a member of a team.
- Excellent command of both Greek and English Language.
- Positive, attentive and outgoing personality, with strong sense of duty, responsibility and reliability.
Gross annual salary: up to €24,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
