Lecturer in Media Production (Full Time)
The University will be employing new Academic Staff to begin in September 2025.
SCHOOL OF ARTS, MEDIA & COMMUNICATION
Full Time Lecturer in Media Production* with specialisation in one or more of the following subject areas:
- Video Production
- Broadcasting
- TV Production
- Audiovisual Technologies
- Film Production.

Applicants for the above positions must hold a PhD (or have submitted their thesis and are awaiting their viva) with a proven record of research achievement and have demonstrable experience of delivering teaching in Higher Education. A professional qualification in their field of expertise will be considered an advantage. Experience in CPD and professional training will be considered an advantage. Fluency in English is essential for the positions. These are 3-year positions in the first instance.
*Some of the aforementioned specialties are regarded as being of outstanding and undeniable particularity, for which writing a PhD thesis and earning a doctoral degree are in many cases either not feasible or uncommon. A PhD degree is therefore not essential for applying for the aforementioned position although it will be considered as an advantage. Ideally, we are looking for team players with a proven track record in HE teaching and professional practice experience. Experience in CPD and professional training will be considered an advantage too. A Master’s degree and fluency in English are both essential for the positions. These are 3-year positions in the first instance.
