UCLan Cyprus is seeking to appoint a full time Administration Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other members of the UCLan Cyprus services and departments to support on various administrative tasks.
  • Provide support to the various committees of the university, such as minute-taking, agenda preparation, table of actions, calendar invitations, dissemination of documents, etc.
  • Provide clerical support for document creation/correction and data input/retrieval to/from computerised information systems, as well as filing and management of documents digitally and in hard copy.
  • Deal with enquiries from staff, students, external clients and members of the public in a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Other administrative duties, corresponding to the post level, under the supervision of the Director of the Academic quality and Compliance.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience.
  • Significant recent administrative experience in a busy office environment.
  • Excellent command on both Greek and English Language.
  • Fast and clear minute-taking, writing letters and reports, in English and Greek.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel), Data Management Systems, and the Internet.
  • Excellent organisational skills, and strong sense of task completion with high efficiency.
  • Positive personality, with strong sense of duty, responsibility and reliability.

Gross Annual Salary: €17,000
