ACADEMIC STAFF VACANCIES

 

UCLan Cyprus is pleased to announce the expansion of its academic provision following yet another successful year of operation. The University will be employing new academic staff to begin in January 2022.

Appointments are required at Associate Lecturer (part-time) grade in the following areas:

SCHOOL OF SCIENCES

· Associate Lecturer in Cybersecurity with specialisation in any of the following subject areas:

o Information Security management

o Cyber Defence

o Cyber Warfare

o Incident Handling

o Digital Forensic Investigation

 

SCHOOL OF LAW

· Associate Lecturer in Law with specialisation in any of the following subject areas:

o Family Law

o Associate Lecturer in Foundations of English and Cypriot Law

It is desirable that applicants for the position of Associate Lecturer should have a PhD; however, this is not an essential qualification when they have a Master’s degree and/or professional qualifications. Fluency in English is essential for the positions.

Applicants should have distance learning and teaching experience at University level. Industry practitioners’ experience would be considered as an advantage.

The salary range is normally € 30-40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications; CPD professional fees will apply for certain professionals that will be involved in high profile training programmes.
