UCLan Cyprus, one of the fastest developing universities in Cyprus, continues to expand its academic portfolio, and invites applications for experienced part-time Associate Lecturers to contribute to teaching and CPD professional training as of September 2024, in the following areas:
SCHOOL OF SCIENCES
Web Design and Development
- Associate Lecturer in UX/UI and Interaction Design: ideal candidate should have knowledge of and experience with Adobe XD & Figma
- Associate lecturer in Graphic Design and Graphic Communication: ideal candidate should have knowledge of and experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
Media Production
- Associate Lecturer in Television Studio Production: ideal candidate should have experience in Television Production, Television Programme Production, Television Studio Broadcasting, Multi-camera Studio Operation and Formats and Outside Broadcast.
- Associate Lecturer in Multimedia Production: ideal candidate should have experience in Adobe After Effects (motion graphics) and Adobe Animate (animation, interactive content creation)
- Associate Lecturer in Post-Production: ideal candidate should have experience in Adobe After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve (colour grading, VFX)
Mathematics
- Associate Lecturer in Statistics: General Statistics Modules, Non-parametric Statistics, Survey Methodology, Computational Statistics, Time Series, Operational Research
Computing
- Associate Lecturer in Software Engineering: Specialisation in any of Software Development, UML, Software Methodologies, Computer Programming
It is desirable that applicants for the positions of Associate Lecturers have a PhD; however, this is not an essential qualification when they have a Master’s degree and/or professional qualifications.
Applicants should have teaching experience at university level and some years of industry practitioners’ experience.
The salary range is normally €30-40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications; CPD professional fees will apply for certain professionals that will be involved in high profile training programmes.
Head of School welcome cooperation with experienced research fellows who can join initiatives across research and knowledge transfer activities.
