UCLan Cyprus will be employing a Lecturer in October 2023.
Appointments are required in the following area:
SCHOOL OF SCIENCES
- 0.5 – 1.0 Lecturer in Data Analytics with expertise in Artificial Intelligence
Applicants for the above position should hold a PhD (or have submitted their thesis and are awaiting their viva) in the areas of artificial intelligence and/or machine learning and/or data mining with a proven record of research achievement, while they should also have demonstrable experience of delivering quality teaching in Higher Education. A professional qualification in their field of expertise, while not essential, it will be considered an advantage. Experience in CPD and professional training will also be considered an advantage. Fluency in English is essential for the position. This is a 3-year position in the first instance.
Duties include, engaging in multi- and interdisciplinary research activities and publication of results, the delivery of inter-disciplinary modules, curriculum design and development, obtaining research and innovation funding, developing national and international collaborations, student project supervision and support.
