UCLan Cyprus University is seeking to employ a Lecturer for the School of Business and Management for the academic year 2022-2023.

Appointments are required in the following area:


  • Lecturer in Human Resource Management


Applicants for the above position should hold a PhD with focus on Human Resources Management or Human Resources Development (or have submitted their thesis and are awaiting their viva) with a proven record of research achievement and have demonstrable experience of delivering teaching in Higher Education. CIPD academic or professional qualification is desirable. Experience in CPD and professional training will be considered an advantage. Fluency in English is essential for the position. This is a 3-year position in the first instance.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To make a contribution to achieving the academic objectives in the School through teaching, research and income generating activities
  • To undertake administrative duties relevant to module leadership.
  • To adhere to quality assurance and enhancement systems to ensure high standards are maintained and the student experience is enhanced.
  • To contribute to the development of the School’s commercial activities, including consultancy, training and funded projects.
  • To participate in research as an individual or part of a team.
