Lecturer or Assistant Professor in Graphic Design

School of Sciences | Academic Staff

UCLan Cyprus, one of the fastest developing universities in Cyprus, continues to expand its academic portfolio, and invites applications for Academic Staff to join its team.

Two appointments are required for teaching and research at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in Graphic Design in the following area:

SCHOOL OF SCIENCES

• Lecturer or Assistant Professor in Graphic Design with specialisation in any of the following subject areas:
  • Digital Design
  • Digital Art
  • Visual Composition
  • Graphic Communication
  • Illustration
  • Visual Design

The aforementioned specialties are regarded as being of outstanding and undeniable particularity, for which writing a PhD thesis and earning a doctoral degree are in many cases either not feasible or uncommon. A PhD degree is therefore not essential for applying for the aforementioned positions although it will be considered as an advantage. Ideally, we are looking for team players with a proven track record in HE teaching and professional practice experience. Experience in CPD and professional training will be considered an advantage too. A Master’s Degree and Fluency in English are both essential for the positions. These are 3-year positions in the first instance.
