UCLan Cyprus is seeking to appoint a full-time Student Support Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To support the planning and implementation of the Student Support Strategy.
  • To work as part of the student support team, support with the generic student support frontline and ensure high quality of Information, Advise, Guidance (IAG) is provided to all students.
  • To support the implementation of student-related activities and events, such as Welcome Parties, Career Days, Graduation Ceremony and participate in University events representing the Student Support.
  • To support the Disability Provision and its execution throughout the academic year (admissions, exams, special invigilation etc.) and maintain records and reports.
  • To support the dissemination of information from the Student Support to students and promote student services through presentations, website and social media.
  • To be responsible for preparing and providing various letters and forms for international students and follow up with the University’s International Admissions Office and Schools Administration Department.
  • To prepare admin documentation, verification of student status letters and other certifications under Student Support, required by students to support their study at UCLan Cyprus.
  • To keep and update student records under Student Support, to monitor and update the information systems and provide reports as requested.
  • To support tasks under the UCLan Cyprus Alumni Association.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is essential, and a Postgraduate qualification will be considered an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, SPSS, record-keeping and data-recording systems, large corporate databases and the Internet.
  • Significant experience working in a student support/advisory or customer service capacity.
  • Excellent command of both Greek and English Language.
  • Positive, attentive and outgoing personality, with strong sense of duty, responsibility and reliability.

Gross annual salary: €16.000
