The School of Business & Management of UCLan Cyprus and the Centre for Entrepreneurial Development, Alliance and Research (CEDAR) in collaboration with We Hotels cordially invite you to the 4th IdeaFest Startup Competition which will be held on Tuesday the 28th of March 2020, at 10:00 – 13:00 at UCLan Cyprus.
The aim of the competition is to enhance students’ entrepreneurial thinking, creative problem-solving and opportunity identification. Students participating in the competition will have the opportunity to work as part of a team to identify a gap in the market and develop a product or service that can then be commercialised.
This year, 25 groups of students will participate in the competition, pitching their entrepreneurial ideas through a business poster in front of a panel of judges. The panel will consist of the Founder and CEO of We Group, the CEO of Gain Venture Studios, the Founder and CEO of Synthesis Research Centre and the Founder and CEO of RAI Consultants.
The Winning team will be announced later on the day and will receive the award of 1000 euros.
The competition will be relevant to practitioners, stakeholders, academics and students from all over Cyprus. Hence, the entrance will be free for the public to attend the event.
