Student Stories

School of Business & Management

The British University of Cyprus equipped me with the essential skills and knowledge that significantly enhanced my career prospects. From my first visit on Open Day, I was impressed by the modern facilities, especially the well-equipped library. My first day as a student was an incredible experience—welcoming, supportive, and inspiring. The academic staff were not only knowledgeable but also genuinely approachable and eager to help. Studying here was truly a rewarding journey.

I have completed my studies at UCLan Cyprus and gained the BA (Hons) English Language & Literature degree. I have my own tutorial center for some years now for english language courses, which goes very well so far. As i was working while studying the professors at UCLan Cyprus were aware and have supported me through my studies, we had a very good communication with all the lecturers something that cannot be provided at other universities with very big groups. My dream has always been to teach to children and teenagers, and UCLan Cyprus has helped me reach my goals.

The courses have been engaging and relevant, with professors who are not only experts in their fields but also genuinely invested in our success. I’ve developed essential skills and knowledge that I know will be invaluable as I step into my future career as a marketeer. I’m truly grateful that I am a part of UCLan Cyprus, and I believe that my time here is setting a solid foundation for my professional journey ahead.

We are living in a demanding world with increased uncertainty. To overcome these obstacles it is only wise to invest in knowledge. Therefore choosing to study at a British University within my own country was the best lifetime investment.

Choosing UCLan Cyprus as a university to study was a great opportunity for me. The format of British education was quite attractive; especially on an island with such beautiful weather and the perspective to work in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. The environment of a higher education establishment is determined by the people and I realize now that UCLan Cyprus is a great example. I feel very confident with my tutors and peers; I see how thoughtful the staff is. As a course representative, I was very surprised to see how the university follows the British standards and I’m proud of it. I will be very glad to see new comers in our UCLan Cyprus!
