Step by step International Students’ application process.


Complete the UCLan Cyprus application form. The form is also available here.


Provide copies of your High School certificate and other supporting documents (in native language & in English).

Undergraduate Applicants – application form
– School leaving certificate & mark sheet
– English language qualification (IELTS or IGCSE or any other equivalent)
– Passport copy, minimum validity 2 years

Postgraduate Applicants – application form
– Bachelor degree & transcripts
– School leaving certificate & mark sheet
– English language qualification (IELTS or IGCSE or any other equivalent)
– Personal statement
– Curriculum Vitae (CV)
– Two reference letters
– Passport copy, minimum validity 2 years

The above documents can also be submitted electronically via email or fax.

Once the University has received all the above required documents the UCLan Cyprus Admissions Department will proceed with an official evaluation and if the application is successful, will issue a Conditional/Unconditional Offer Letter stating the terms & conditions of your admission. Once the offer letter is 112 accepted by the student then the visa application process will commence and the student will be guided by the Admissions Depart – ment accordingly.

1. In case you still do not have your School leaving certificate (for Undergraduates) or your Bachelor degree (for Postgraduates) you can provide the latest mark sheet you have and a conditional offer letter will be issued to secure your place at UCLan Cyprus.
2. For LLB and BA (Hons) English Language Studies a minimum of 5.5 IELTS or equivalent is required.
3. For Postgraduate admissions, students whose first degree was taught entirely in English do not need to provide an official English language qualification (entry requirements apply).
4. Students who do not meet the minimum entry criteria can be accepted subject to an interview from the Head of School of the programme of study they are applying for.
5. Students whose native language is English or have completed their High School education in English need to provide appropriate evidence.

Entry Requirements of UCLan Cyprus

Applicants will be assessed on an individual basis, based on their country’s academic qualifications and standards. The language of instruction and assessment for all programmes at our University is English.

Examples of acceptable English language qualifications include:
> IELTS 5.0
> IGCSE English Grade C
> TOEFL 40 (IBT)
> Cambridge Proficiency Level C1
> Michigan Proficiency Pass

Applicants should hold a Bachelor degree with minimum grades as follows:
> Bachelor degree (Lower Second Class) or other equivalent
> IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

International students who require a visa to enter Cyprus must apply directly to the University with all necessary and requested documentation within the deadlines that will be provided to them and the University will submit the Visa Application on their behalf.
