If you are visiting the University campus in Pyla by car you should travel on the A3 towards Ayia Napa/ Paralimni and exit at either the first (Exit 5) or second exit (Exit 6) which directs you to Pyla. Once you exit you will see signs every 500m directing you towards the University Campus.

Bus services are available to and from UCLan Cyprus and are operated by Cyprus Public Transport. Bus number 424 travels from Larnaka to the campus and vice versa from Monday to Sunday. University students are entitled to a 50% Discount and can apply for a bus card either online through the Cyprus Public Transport website or in person at one of the designated local points. The bus route and schedule can be found on the Cyprus Public Transport website: https://www.publictransport.com.cy/routes/page/routes-and-timetables Please note that the bus stop referred to as ‘Pyla Elementary School’ is the University bus stop which is located at the bottom of University Avenue (by the Sports Centre). Information on student bus tickets can be found on the Cyprus Public Transport website: https://www.publictransport.com.cy/

The Intercity Buses operates all intercity bus route services connecting all the unoccupied cities of Cyprus on a daily schedule and frequent departures. The buses are available from various stations in Larnaka, however the most convenient bus stop used by students travelling with the Intercity Buses to/from Nicosia and Limassol is the one located on the Finikoudes sea front. UCLan Cyprus students using the Intercity Bus Service must present a valid Student Bus Card in order to enjoy the student discount on ticket fares. The student bus card can be issued upon request from the UCLan Cyprus Library. To contact the Library team, you can call +357 24694020 or send an email to [email protected] More information about Intercity Buses, including bus schedules and ticket prices can be found on their website: https://www.intercity-buses.com/?wp=home

If you would like to share a ride with other UCLan Cyprus students that live in the same area or town as you, then please send us an email at [email protected]. Carpooling will help you save petrol, decrease auto emissions and help you make new friends! You are travelling ‘greener’ by reducing pollution but also cutting back on your weekly costs. Everyone benefits! We also invite you to join the Student Support Services UCLan Cyprus group on Facebook to keep in touch and stay up to date with news and more information on travelling and carpooling!
