Dr. Kalypso Iordanou, Assistant Professor in Psychology, at UCLan Cyprus is the winner of the Cyprus Research Award Young Researcher 2015 in the field “Social Sciences & Humanities”!

She was elected after a competitive procedure ,  by an international expert committee mandated by the Research Promotion Foundation (RPF), to identify  the nominees, whose work have demonstrated significant impact both nationally and internationally.

The ceremony was held on the 23^rd of November 2015, at Hilton Hotel in Nicosia. The prizes were awarded by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Charis Georgiades, on behalf of his Excellency the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades.    

Dr. Iordanou received the award for her work “Developing Argumentation Skills”. As part of the prize, she will receive the amount of 35,000 euros from the Research Promotion Foundation, as funding for continuing her high quality research.
