UCLan Cyprus is launched at International Education Exhibition

The “University of Central Lancanshire, Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus)”, the first British University in Cyprus, after the announcement of the cabinet approved the registration in the Register of Private Universities, followed a remarkably successful presence in 19 the Education Fair held in Nicosia from 17 to 19 February 2012.

The turnout was so large that it exceeded all expectations. Students and parents from all parts of Cyprus, as well as foreign nationals as teachers and counselors, visited by hundreds of the booth UCLan Cyprus to get first information on this huge event in the field of higher education in our country, creating the first British University in Cyprus. Guests focused their interest in both the curricula and that students of UCLan Cyprus will have the opportunity to study entirely in Cyprus or to transfer part of their studies at UCLan England. Enough interest was also the generous offer of the university for 10% tuition reduction to the first 300 students who register by October 2012, for the duration of their studies, with a total value of up to € 3,980.

Management staff of the University of Cyprus and the United Kingdom, along with the Rector Dr. Lee Chatfield provided direct information and guidance to all visitors, taking very positive messages.

The identified schools with which the UCLan Cyprus will begin operation are:

SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL LAW SCHOOL ,SCHOOL OF COMPUTING MATHEMATICS .

The UCLan Cyprus will open in October 2012 in Larnaka (Pyla area) to a new campus total cost of € 53 millions and area of ??48,000 sq.m. It offers excellent British Higher Education and quality standards by equipping graduates with the confidence and skills they need to succeed in the business world and beyond. It will also help develop the entrepreneurial spirit by giving an economic, social and cultural interests in Cyprus and the region.
