Working in more sustainable organisations

On January 29, 2024, we had the privilege of hosting Mr. Kyriakos Parpounas, Sustainability Leader at Grant Thornton Cyprus, for the inauguration of our 2024 MBA Professional Series. The presentation, which took place at UCLan Cyprus, marked the commencement of an exploration into key topics such as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainability, sustainability reporting standards, blockchain, and Data Science in the Business World.

This initiative falls under the collaborative partnership between Grant Thornton Cyprus and UCLan Cyprus, designed to bridge the gap between academia and professional practice, addressing the challenges of the future professional landscape.

Kyriakos Parpounas, a distinguished figure in the field of sustainability, delivered an inspiring, engaging, and transparent presentation titled “Working in more sustainable organisations” to UCLan Cyprus students in the School of Business and Management. His expertise shed light on the crucial aspects of creating and sustaining organisations with a focus on environmental and social responsibility.
