UCLan Cyprus announces 10 Scholarships for the BSc (Hons) Mathematics Degree

UCLan Cyprus is delighted to announce 10 X 50% Scholarships for the BSc (Hons) Mathematics Programme, for your first year of studies at the British University of Cyprus. Upon completion of studies, UCLan Cyprus BSc (Hons) Mathematics graduates receive a Double Degree (two certificates) from both UCLan Cyprus and UCLan UK that are recognised not only in Cyprus and United Kingdom, but also across Europe and beyond.

What Mathematics can offer you?

The BSc (Hons) Mathematics degree is a balanced programme of study that covers topics across the whole range of mathematical areas. UCLan Cyprus provides a course which is built on five themes which run through all academic years of the course; mathematical methods, analysis, algebra, mechanics and computational mathematics. A variety of innovative teaching and assessment methods challenge the students to apply their mathematical skills to real-world problems.

Applicants interested in October 2019 BSc (Hons) Mathematics Scholarships, should complete the below procedure.

Step 1
Complete the UCLan Cyprus application form. The form is available electronically here.

Step 2
Provide copies of your High School certificate and the following supporting documents (in native language & in English):

> School leaving certificate & mark sheet
> English language qualification (IELTS or IGCSE or any other equivalent)
> Passport copy, minimum validity 2 years (For International Students)

The above documents should be submitted electronically via email at [email protected].

Once the University has received all the above required documents, the UCLan Cyprus Admissions Department will proceed with an official scholarship evaluation and if the application is successful will issue a Conditional/ Unconditional Offer letter stating the terms & conditions of your admission and further details regarding Visa procedures.

It is worth mentioning that scholarships can also be maintained for subsequent years provided an overall average grade of 70% is achieved, with a minimum grade of 60% in each individual module. Scholarships are calculated as a percentage on the original fee (i.e. A 50% scholarship: 50% x 9,950 = €4,975).

Important Notes:

  1. In case you still do not have your School leaving certificate (for Undergraduates) you can provide the latest mark sheet you have and a conditional offer letter will be issued to secure your place at UCLan Cyprus.
    2. If any other scholarships or bursaries are applicable, then only the highest will apply.
    3. Scholarships are available for a limited time only and Course Leader Interview may be required as part of the process.
