Graphic & Multimedia Designer | Professional Staff

UCLan Cyprus is seeking to appoint a Graphic & Multimedia Designer.

GROSS ANNUAL SALARY:  up to €18,000 depending on experience and/or background

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create attractive, appealing and always on trend and up to date designs, refreshing artwork and ensure the University’s messages, the communication style and the brand guidelines of the University is presented with consistency and clarity.
  • Produce engaging GIFs, animations and videos tailored to meet the requirements of the University’s website, social media & digital platforms.
  • Develop and execute high-quality design materials, both online and offline, such as artwork and layout solutions for marketing collateral, including web and roll-up banners, brochures, prospectuses, student guides, flyers, and other high-quality printing or digital materials.
  • Taking and editing photos of various events, taking place on and off campus when needed.
  • Respond efficiently to requests for information and designs, meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Support all departments and schools of the University in communicating and promoting their activities, programs, and schedules internally and externally through graphic and multimedia designs.
  • Regularly update and support the University’s website, providing ideas and suggestions for improvements based on the targeted audience and new and upcoming features for social media, digital platforms, and the University’s website.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Graphic/Multimedia Design/production or Digital Technologies
  • Minimum 4 years’ work experience in industry and in a professional environment
  • High efficiency, strong attention to detail, motivated, creative and enthusiastic
  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop & After Effects or PremierePro
  • Experience with photography and editing
  • An excellent portfolio showcasing visual design work with a strong graphic design sensibility
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent command of Greek & English language
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work as a team member & independently
