Appointments are required for teaching and research at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in the following area:
SCHOOL OF SCIENCES
- Lecturer or Assistant Professor in Fashion Design:
Required:
- A PhD in Fashion Design or a related field. Applications from scholars who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting their viva are accepted.
- A record of research achievement, within the wider area of Fashion Design.
- For the position of Assistant Professor there is an additional requirement of at least three years of experience with teaching and supporting learning in Higher Education, as well as proven research record in the field of Fashion Design.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
Desired:
- Experience with the UK Higher Education sector.
- Experience with leadership roles, such as Course Leadership.
- Certification(s) of teaching and supporting learning in Higher Education, such as Fellowship of the Advance HE (formerly, Higher Education Academy).
- Experience with CPD (Continued Professional Development) and professional training.
This is a 3-year position in the first instance.
